It has been said that Wasim Akram could make a ball walk and talk like none other and who can argue against the ‘Sultan of Swing’. The Pakistani cricket team has seen many glorious moments owing to the presence of this left arm bowler. Wasim Akram made his test debut in the year 1985 with New Zealand v Pakistan at Auckland – Jan 25-28 and since then he has been known to lead our nation to countless victories. During his career spanning 19 years he has been recognized to have played transparent and well – crafted games with a twist of his own as the finest exponent of reverse swing bowling.
He now stands among our national heroes and continues to create positive impact on our culture and youth.
