Sarah-Jane Mee, Matt Floyd and the rest of the Cricket AM gang will be live on Sky Sports to kick off your first Ashes Saturday in style.

With the series between England and Australia firmly underway, we’ll bring you plenty of chat and laughs ahead of the fourth day’s play at Trent Bridge.

We’ll bring you a former Ashes-winning bowler, a Pakistan superstar and all the fun and games you’ve come to expect.

Here’s what we’ve got in store…

SIMON JONES – This Welshman certainly knows a thing or two about producing big Ashes performances at Trent Bridge, having taken 5-44 there in the fourth Test in 2005. Jones played a key role in England’s series victory and he’ll bring us his verdict on the state of the current game.

WASIM AKRAM – The Pakistan legend is widely regarded as one of the finest fast bowlers in the history of the sport and he’ll join us to talk about his terrific career – as well as giving us the neutral’s perspective on events at Trent Bridge.

THE SCIENCE OF CRICKET – Former England bowler Matthew Hoggard investigates the science behind what makes a cricket ball swing.

SHOT AT THE PROS – One of our winners, Varun Khullar, is given some one-on-one bowling coaching by Simon Jones ahead of his time training with Yorkshire.

CRASH! BANG! WALLOP! – Gloucestershire are the latest county to take up our challenge to try and smash the ball as far as possible.

ASHES A TO Z – Our alphabetical look at the battle for the urn takes us to the letters O (for Old Trafford) and P (for Ponting)

ASHES MEMORIES – Australia’s Mr Cricket tells us all about his three favourite personal moments of Australia v England matches.

So join us for Cricket AM from 8.30am, Saturday, Sky Sports Ashes HD.
